Framed shower screens Laverton: a smart option for busy, family-run bathrooms, frameless shower screens are composed of sleek, metal frames that support clear panels made from clear glass and offer full enclosure to the whole unit. Coming to the feature of these screens, not only do they suit perfectly in a bathroom, but they also are an affordable choice for many households. However, you need to ensure that the glass is transparent in nature and won't be damaged in the course of usage.

For those who don't mind installing the frames and the glass in their own home, there are some simple ways to install a frameless shower screen in their bath. These include attaching the frame and glass panels to the shower floor, drilling and screwing them in place, and then gluing them in place.

Suppose you don't wish to make the installation a complicated affair. In that case, you can opt for frameless frames with self-adhesive glass panels which you can easily attach to the edge without the use of screws.

To properly fit the frame, make sure that the size of the shower unit is correct. Then measure the length of the shower cubicle and measure the width, the height and the depth of the shower stall. For this purpose, measure the centre from the floor to the top of the glass panel and measure the width from the floor to the bottom of the glass panel. The height should be measured from the base to the wall.

After measuring the depth and width, drill the frame into the wall at its proper place, and then attach the bracket firmly to the shower cubicle. Drill and screw the glass pan panels to the edge, following the instructions carefully.

Once the glass pan panels are fitted into the frame properly, you need to seal it using the sealant which can be applied onto the shelves, especially on the edges of the frame. This will ensure that the glass is covered effectively and will last for a long time.

If you're using a frameless frame, you need to make sure that the glass is at the correct distance from the shower stall door. The glass should be at a distance equal to the width of the stall door and at a distance equal to the length of the stall door.

To finish the frame properly, you need to add finishing glue to the ends of the frame. Ensure that the finishing glue is used because if you apply too much, it will stick to the glass pane and damage it in the process.
